Pelle Bast is a bit of a doubter, but his alter ego, Astronaut ‘trapt de duivel op z’n staart’. Once he’s on stage, this singer-songwriter transforms into a fearless amateur philosopher: he tackles questions about the meaning of life while also pondering what he’ll put on his toast in the morning; love and sprinkles, of course! When you look at our world through his eyes, you can’t help but notice the beauty around you. His honest songwriter lyrics are combined with a bandsound somewhere between Big Thief and Roosbeef. Astronaut made appearances at festivals like Wilde Weide, Madnes, Wildeburg, Theaterfestival De Parade, and Into The Great Open. In Doka they will be releasing and celebrating their second studio album.
