This pairing brings together two selectors who share a talent for creating a welcoming, high-energy floor. Ajuma is an ardent music lover known for her ability to spark joy through surprising and obscure finds. Her sets weave together elements of Afrobeat and disco with the driving energy of house music; an approach she also brings to her own club night, Parotia, which focuses on community and gender equality in the booth. She is joined by Lysah, a key figure in the Nijmegen scene and co-founder of SoundLab Nijmegen. Known for her regular contributions to Open Source Radio, Lysah’s sets are built on a foundation of boogie, sultry electronics, and cheerful synth-driven sounds. Expect a night of global rhythms and heartfelt selections that encourage the room to move and connect.
